pretty enough for a pic
to wipe hopelessness
The Geese Say It’s Spring
snowy petals fall
as spring goslings first appear

Yet, We Face It
snow showers plague spring
with their heartless reminder
of cold’s endless reach

when April snow comes,
she draws perfect silhouettes
before spreading soil

a snowy Monday
peppered shots fired; deaths;
