the northwest corner
 of our country and my fridge
 have now made my map
 

all drives must end
 with western divinity
 on our blue-sky Earth
 

we missed Crater Lake
 but found the Lake in the Woods
 (no tourists here)
 

my garden has bloomed
 under my family’s care
 while we met Salt Lake
 

patches remind us
 of the beauty we’ve witnessed
